[sblock=Immediate Interrupt]As annunced OOC, Ghorgor activates Endure Pain and gains Resist 10 all until the end of his next turn.

Therefore he took 3 damage from blast and 3 more from clawm total of 6.

Ghorgor hardens his body and takes the onslaught little worse for the wear. But he looks around and realize he is the only one.

-''You should all have studied Ghorgor method. For ten easy payment, you be still healthy and alive, now... Wait for me, Tree lady! Ghorgor no stay!''

He struggles against a temporary stiffening of his limbs caused by the cold and hustles forward. He endures more claws attack from the dragonman, snatch a ghoul on the floor and moves toward the Portal.

The dragonborn keeps pace, frantically trying to finish off Ghorgor, but even without his tophat and carrying the unconscious undead, the goliath has no problem batting aside the foes claws.

The ghast seems content with his meal and tears into the fallen tiefling.

Shift then run through portal. If that wouldn't be enough, double run and soak OA.[/sblock]

Ghorgor rushes through the Portal, carrying his ghoul, joining Willow on the other side.

-''They dead. Friends dead. Four dead for one undead! Is no good ratio. Ghorgor think we not have found easiest ghouls in Daunton... Next time, kill sneaky kobold and pay necromancers to raise him ghoul. Much less expensive in friends.'' he bemoans.

OOC: Now Ghorgor is the only survivor from those originally hired by the chef.

You know what that means; Ghorgor is now in charge. That's how a chain of command works.

[MENTION=13739]Velmont[/MENTION] - Are you planning on continuing with Calisto? I have an idea germinating that will work well for me :)devil:) if you wish to keep playing her. [/sblock]

After narrowly escaping from the dragonborn, Ghorgor dashes through the portal, the dragonborn laughing and the ghast chewing on his allies is the last image the goliath sees of that horrid scene.

They now duo manage to escape the caves and return to Daunton with no further difficulty, although Ghorgor has to routinely punch the ghast in the face whenever it wakes up from its unconsciousness. Arriving at Le Faisan d'Or just as the place appears to be closing for the night, a maître d’ scoffs at the blood soaked elf and goliath, bringing you around the back alley through a service entrance. Georges comes to see you in short order, a wide smile on his face as he rounds the corner, but it quickly disappears as he sees just two remaining. "Your friends...where are they?" he asks, face white. After discussing it with the two, he wipes his brow, a look of concern on his face. "Sacrebleu! What have I done.... oh this is awful" the chef whispers, he shakes with emotion. The ghast stirs, drawing another knockout punch from Ghorgor. Georges brings you to a cold room, he explains an artificer crafted it specifically to keep things fresh and with a pair of manacles recently bolted into the corner, apparently it can keep even undead safely.

"Well, I must at least pay you for bringing me this, it is the least I can do. I can speak with the Lautites to perhaps give some leniency on their services if you can retrieve the bodies." he says, voice shaky.

No food is offered this time as the man retrieves a few items for the duo, a warhammer that can be tossed as if it were a perfectly balanced throwing hammer, and a black ash staff that can draw on the wielders life energy to protect him or her.

"I'm sure you will need some time to rest and I have yet to locate the other ingredients. Take some time and get yourselves some rest. I will contact you when I can." Georges says

OOC: Oh, I am in for further culinary adventures.

Concerning the 750gp... I gotta say I selfishly really want to split it with willow so I can buy a +1 Amulet of protection rather than raise someone.

Without it, the new PCs will be wealthier and better equipped than Ghorgor! It's 1750gp for a new level 3. I was with Velmont when he designed his new PC (a cool prescient bard) and I saw he easily managed to get the 3 basic magic item. Currently I have 1520gp worth of items and only two of the big three. Adding a +1 amulet for 320gp out of my share puts me on a level playing field with the new guys.

[sblock=ooc]either way works for me, but at least Ghorgor will be closer to level 4 than new-PC ;)

P.S. You decide on which item sounds like fun to tackle next and I'll work up the adventure based on that.

Just tell me how much gold she has so I can put it to good use. :)

[SBLOCK=OOC]I would have liked to play Calisto when she would be higher level, but with Walking Dad wizard, we would be short on leader. Also, as Mal told, we have designed a bard together that have a lot of potential, and we have thought of a few combo with Ghorgor.

Anyway, Raising Dead need a body... I think Calisto doesn't have such thing left either.

Conclusion: Bard on![/SBLOCK]
