Posting this now so I don't have to post the whole headline at 10:00pm.

Here is the AMC summary:

The group learns that someone dangerous may be on the loose near the farm. As night falls, Rick, Shane, Daryl and Glenn comb the woods to handle the situation and keep the group safe.

If the spoilers I saw on another website are correct, this could be an awesome episode.

What an intense ending - you could feel the tension between Rick & Shane coming through the TV. You saw it unraveling for Shane with Daryl & Glen finding Randall.

Next week looks like Farmageddon.

I liked this episode. Lots happening. I think the climax would have had more impact if it had followed the comic, but I still think they handled it well.

I think the end shot of the farmhouse indicates that Carl saw the whole pre-climax exchange through his binoculars.

Lots more to say but I have to leave for third shift.

First, let me say that this is the best episode so far this season.

Second, let me share the attached comic that I plagiarized from xkcd. This is not a response to anyone in particular, but is pretty much how I have felt reading threads on TWD on pretty much every site on the internet where it is being discussed.

Roamers & Lurkers discussion forums have a clear line drawn between TV show discussion and comic discussion... so, it's not everywhere.

It's only natural to compare TWD TV vs Comic, though.

Intense and interesting changes from the comic, almost like an alternate universe take on events. That said I think they've exhausted the farm plotline and will be glad to see them move on.

Well, looks like the theory that everyone is infected is now confirmed. That brings up a few internal inconsistencies that I hope get addressed and resolved somehow in the future, though.

One thing I've noticed is that all the concerns that people seem to have about this seasons have been slowly addressed with each episode over the last three. If you look back at the discussion in the previous thread, you could almost make a list of concerns and just tick them off as they're addressed.

I still think they need to get a bit smarter.

A few more thoughts on this episode:

I think Lori's conversation with Shane is what sent him over the edge. She made him believe that he was still "in the race" with her based on the way she worded the conversation. As she was speaking I looked at my wife and said "That woman is the devil!" It was almost like she was stringing Shane along in a way.

I like that T-Dog got some more screen time and hope they develop his character some more. They could go some interesting ways with him.

I thought the scene with Glen and Andrea at the RV was very well done. It softened Andrea, and shows that Glen seems to be taking over some of the void left by Dale's death.

Looks like we'll be moving on from the farm soon. It's high time we get back to the desperation they had in the first season. I think the show needs to get away from the feeling of safety they had at the farm. The "band on the run" feeling seems to lead to better episodes for this series IMHO.

Curious to see how Andrea reacts to the results of this episode's climax. Based on the foreshadowing at the end of this episode, she may not have much time to process the information.

We know from a previous episode that ammunition is becoming scarce.

The information Shane got about the "other" group didn't get passed on to anyone.

Good stuff. I'm looking forward to the season finale. I hope it continues the upward swing we've seen in the last few episodes.

After I got over the shock of T-Dog having a few lines, my next thought was, "might as well put a red shirt on him - he's dead."

Glad to see I was wrong and he made it through the episode.

My guess is that at least a few of them will die next week, though, and T-Dog is still a candidate. Some other guesses are Patricia and/or Jimmy.
