Clefton, if you want to ask Eric's wife, that would be great. I have no idea when we might be able to put a netbook or something together or even how soon the online CC will be working again, but it seems like this is something a lot of us would like to do.

Also, feel free to stop by and comment on any conversions you like or have time for. No major commitments required.

Echohawk: those monsters should both be finished. I think that slime mold must have been finished in thread (Cleon has been writing up drafts in the conversion threads because he's awfully fast --- and that would be a reason he would make a good moderator, by the way) and just not copied to homebrews. That draeden statblock looks pretty well done to me, actually. What did you think was missing? I might have missed something that didn't get filled in, but we definitely finished that conversion and moved on.

I asked about those two only because they are missing from Shade's "finished and awaiting upload" list, which I'm busy reviewing. The draeden does indeed looks complete, and reviewing the Converting Epic Level Creatures it looks like it was, indeed, declared finished in April (after almost an entire year of work!).

However, the amoeboid slime mold doesn't quite look done, at least in the Homebrews thread, where it is still missing a description, tactics and the CR has a question mark next to it. On the other hand, it looks finished in this post. Reviewing the Special Conversion Thread: Microscopic Monsters thread, I get the impression that Shade simply didn't get around to updating the Homebrews entry before moving on to Protiston (which I might add, still seems to be a work in progress some 14 pages of discussion later!).

Yeah, the monsters lately have been taking a while --- partly we've been busier with work, partly we have the weird ones now, and partly we are just more wordy than we used to be when deciding what to do. It's odd, they're not as complex as Mossmutter, but they still take a while.

I think you have all those other monsters in basically the correct spots, with a few notes. I haven't gone through all the threads in about a week and a half, though, so I might misremember something. Cleon can correct me if I do.

I think we just finished the spotted lion, but I guess it might need another once over to double check.

There is some question of whether to make "werejaguar priests" as an additional monster, prestige class, or just underbar. I think we were leaning toward prestige class.

Another note: the wingless wonder has been split into two critters, both versions of alkada: the wingless wonder and the walking egg (I think that's the nomenclature we decided on). The original stats in different sourcebooks differed enough we decided to make two varieties.

Yes, I saw that, but it doesn't look like you've started on the prestige class, so I haven't counted that as work-in-progress yet.

Aha, that explains the strange reference to the walking egg I spotted while catching up! Am I correct that you are still busy with the wingless wonder, and haven't yet started on the walking egg? As an aside, I'm quite fond of that creature and I'm glad it is getting some attention, even though it is about as bizarre a critter as they come!

I think I now have an up-to-date overview of the status of the various conversions and where the finished entry is for each of the completed ones. I'm just editing the list into something human-readable and then I'll post it here.

These are all finished except the Amazon, since we have been considering reworking the organization so it has "male humanoids" instead of Emezons. The Amazon probably won't be signed off on until we finish the Emezon conversion.

Hmm, should we add the "Dire Otter" version of the Potamotherium? The giant otter is an official AD&D monster. I believe we were going to cut out the Attach from its stats, but I can't edit that post).

Yes, none of those are completed - although a few are almost there.

We've also started a Giant Lynx conversion, or rather an update of the 3.0 version, but haven't posted even an outline of its 3.5 stats.

There's also a Cocoadaemon conversion we're doing as part of the Emezon conversion.

It's "Cocoa" in Shade's working draft.

We are going to do a Chocodeva, but we haven't started on the stats yet.
