Well trained in holds and pressure points, Jayce gives the troll-ling a half shrug feint and is free from its grasp. With the shifter run down by his comrade, Jayce spins in place, giving the half troll a mighty cut. He follows the blow with a well timed power off hand punch to the sternum, further abusing the aberration.

Prior to turn: Heal for 27 hit points (nice!)

Movement: Break Grab: 13. Crud, I made a mistake with the roll, using Strength instead of Athletics. If I used the athletics modifier, the escape attempt would have been 20. (+12 athletics). If 20 is insufficient, Jayce would use Heroic Action.

Standard: MBA w/ longsword vs. half troll: 1d20+13, 2d8+11+2 → ([18, 13], [1, 8, 11, 2]) Roll. 31 vs. AC is a hit. Used Power Strike.

No Action: Stone Fist Fury of Blows: Jayce deals an additional 8 damage to half troll.

Total damage to Troll: 30

As Jayce escapes, the Half Troll takes advantage of the distraction to bite him.

9+mods hits Reflex for 11

Jayce then bloodies the half troll as Tana bloodies the Ogre.

OOC: I won't be able to post the monster's turn until tomorrow.

PS. New record. Two entire turns in a single day. :)

OOC: I looked at the wrong NPC. The Half Troll is not bloodied.

With a prayer, Rava channels some of her bodily strength to heal the wounds of her allies.

Sirrah decides that Rava and Jayce need his help next. Guiding his steed with his knees and a word in elven, the Valenar horse nimbly dances back out of the reach of the bugbear. Sirrah turns the steed around and lowers the lance at the wounded shifter.

The shifter is impaled on Sirrah's lance. The revenant kicks the body to the mud and draws out some of the fallen bandit's life force.

Sirrah kills the shifter.

Hilkalas stands up, and spits blood to his side. Rava's magic seals his wounds, and he grins at the hobgoblin. He takes a calculated step forward and slashes at it, then retreats in a swift motion. "Great performance healer, don't let those superficial wounds wind you down, up on your feet!"

A little frustrated that she wasn't able to help Jayce - she thought that Dimensional Vortex spell was a nice trick when it worked -- Tana tried to keep the ogre's attention for the time being, making another attack with thunder and her blade.

The Bugbear moves in and swings its flail defensively. The random weaving of the flail hits everyone close by. "Kill the healer. She's the one keeping them alive." it shouts.

The second Hobgoblin moves next to Rava and stabs at her with its spear, but misses. It then starts barking out commands and repositioning its troops.

The Ogre moves towards Rava and slams her hard on the head with its club.

The first Hobgoblin fires a blast of magical force at Rava and knocks her to the ground unconscious.

Not being needed on the attacks against Rava, the Half Troll goes back to concentrating on its attacks on Jayce. It charges over and grabs Jayce in its massive claw. Jayce goes unconscious as well.

[sblock=OOC]

0/43 Jayce, bloodied, grabbed, prone, unconscious, dying
2/37 Rava, bloodied, weakened UENT Rava
28/49 Sirrah
55/55 Tana, 5 temp hit points
Jasper/Pumpkin, Jasper has 5 temp hit points
5 Horse

Note: It's PC's turns.

Terrain: The entire area is wet from the rain.

The road is difficult terrain due to mud. The rest of the area is wet, but it doesn't affect movement.

Cover: Trees provide one way cover if the target is in the adjacent square behind them compared to the attacker. Trees also provide normal two way cover for both attacker and defender if neither is in the adjacent square (i.e. PC away from tree, monster away from tree, but tree between the two of them).

Concealment. Bushes provide concealment, but only if the character is purposely crouched down behind them. The monsters were hiding behind the bushes, but now are not.

I will indicate if any of the monsters are trying to gain concealment.

OOC: Did you reduce the Ogre's damage by 8 due to Tana's Aegis of Shielding? Also, did he take the 1d6+3 damage from moving away from Tana in the turn after he was hit by Booming Blade? It didn't look like it... booming blade aftereffect damage (1d6+3=7)
"The interesting thing about what I'm doing is that you don't have any good choices." She says, half to the Ogre and half to keep herself focused and explain what she was doing to any of her allies who were listening, moving to a flanking position and applying the same tactics again, finding another point to stab him. "If you attack me again, you'll get hurt. If you attack one of my friends, you'll find it harder to hit, and hit less hard than you'd like. And if you try to get away from me, well, you won't like that either. Now, it's true that you're a big, strong ogre and I'm a little gnome with a sword and some magic tricks, but I think you can see that you're not in a good place as long as I can keep this up ..."

[sblock=actions]move: shift to -B9 to flank the Ogre.

Hilkalas takes a quick, magically charged slice at the ogre. The wound is so painful it sends the ogre staggering backwards into the illusory chasm, allowing for Tana to slip by at the marshal's command, and hack at it again. "Quickly, move into flanking position and obliterate it!" Hilkalas then moves near the spellcasting hobgoblin, threatening him.

[sblock=actions]Since the ogre moved away I assume Hilkalas has an AoO: 13+2 from flanking for 8 dmg
Hilkakas uses Devastating offensive: 14+2 from flanking for 11 dmg, he makes the ogre slide to b8-c9, thus entering the phantom chasm zone, and thus dropping prone. Tana slides to A7 and can take a basic melee attack for free against the ogre, and I think she would be flanking with Sirrah.
Hilkalas then moves to -A14[/sblock]

Yes.

OOC: Also, did he take the 1d6+3 damage from moving away from Tana in the turn after he was hit by Booming Blade? It didn't look like it... booming blade aftereffect damage (1d6+3=7)

No. That damage occurs if the creature moves after starting its turn next to Tana. The Ogre was moved by the Hobgoblin before the Ogre's turn, so it was not adjacent to Tana at the start of its turn.
