I just picked up Art of the Dragonlance Saga for £2.99. I used to own this book years ago. I especially love Lord Soth's Charge, a painting that I had on my wall as a kid. Anyone else remember this book?

Great pic - great book :). I went on an art-book splurge recently and bought up all the D&D/AD&D art books I could find. This was one of them. So many fantastic pictures. Would be nice to see something like that for modern D&D (Paizo's cool Dragon art book is one, of course) but I'll never get tired of those old pics. How many TARDISES have you found? :)

I love that picture. Anyone know if there is a poster available of it anywhere? I'd love to get one framed and hung in my D&D room.

As diaglo mentioned the artist, Keith Parkinson, died some time ago. There are a few items still available on his website (run by his family, I believe) but Lord Soth's Charge is not one of the posters they still have in stock. They do have it in giclee form but it's quite expensive as giclees tend to be.

As well as Art of the Dragonlance Saga there was also a 2nd art book called Masters of Dragonlance Art, which is also available for cheap on the used market. Not as good as the first but still worth it for the right price. Covers later material than Art.
