Fistan finished warding the gate, then joins the rest of the group as they are trying to get over the damaged bridge. "Perhaps some temporary repairs using some timber from the damaged buildings might be a better solution?" he suggests.

Dren followed the others to the bridge. He eyed the smashed opening. Tying a rope around his waist, he handed the other end to someone else and then took a running start and jumped over the gap.

The timbers at the edge gave way beneath him and he face planted on the other side, bashing his nose into the wood. “Ah, crap in a hat!” he muttered as he wiped away the blood.

OOC: *facepalm*

Fistan looks at the wrecked cottage, "I'm no engineer but I can provide some labour to move stuff." He goes inside and finds a loose splinter of wood. Teasing the whipping off the rope in his pack he starts to draw in the dirt using the string as a skeleton and the wood as a pencil A detailed image of a man takes shape and with some arcane words a gentle gust of wind disturbs his work leaving nothing but the string behind. Unperturbed Fistan instruct no one in particular to start moving timber from the cottage to the gap in the bridge and timbers start to move apparently by themselves.

As soon as the timbers start to move, Fistan returns to drawing in the dirt.

OOC: Fistan will continually cast Unseen Servant, instructing them as required, until we get a bridge built

Tranio watches Dren's attempts to cross the gap, and his quick and able attempts to join Bethany. "Are you and Bethany alright?" he asks, hopefully. "Can you reach the rope I've let down?"

(ah - sorry).

"There you are!" he says, looking up, and seeing his wagonmates on the high side of the bridge. He starts rolling up his rope again. Once it is coiled, a quick bowline around his waistband then he tosses the end to the others. "So perhaps you could pull me as I try to jump?" he asks hopefully.

Assuming Dren and Bethany are willing to help [advantage?], Tranio will attempt to cross. "Wahoo," he shouts as he jumps.

Dren catches the other end of Tranio’s rope and holds it as the man jumps across successfully, and much less painfully.

“Show off,” Dren grins, coiling up the rope again and handing it to Tranio.

Fistan:

This particular cottage is one of the heaviest damaged, with several boulders now inside. The first thing you notice is an elderly human couple in bed. Unfortunately, the were killed when part of the roof collapsed from the siege.

The next thing you notice is a fancy desk with an assortment of fine parchment and quills.

Your unseen servants quickly go to work moving debris from the home, when a small blur darts out from behind the dresser. You're relieved it is a simple black and white house cat, until you view the animal take flight. You only then notice the majestic wings as it flies through a hole in the roof and then peers at you nervously.
