Okay, I didn't know they changed the name. I've heard good things about it, but have never played or even looked through it.

Its a great game! I played it at a con once or twice. Basically, you pick a toy, and define its stats, and special attacks (godzilla's big ray, Rohdan's sonic blast thingy, etc) Then you basically fight. There are rules for different terain types (oceans, quicksand, etc), there are rules that let you do basically anything the guys in rubber suits do (pick each other up, throw stuff, break things). The rules are really no more complex than d20. And its SO COOL!

Yup... the Sword Stamp of Approval!

Sure, we like to think we are the traditional players, but the more I think about it we are sitting in the EN World Ivory Tower. We are spoiled with ideas and information. We have examples of some of the greatest DM's in the world to help us and advise us to perfect our gaming style. However, we are the minority. Most gamers don't have the internet and of those that do, only a minority come here. I think this shows that Wizards is listening to the people who play the game, and we are not them.

Thoughts??

The half orc not being revised thread. It was mostly ignored and I thought it was a realyl good point.

I agree with that, Crothian. Haven't read the thread but the point is perfectly valid. It's been used before in other debates. Guess some people just don't pay attention.

I know, it's hard to imagine, isn't it?
