I don't completely understand the legality but the creator said they can't do the expanded books for Roll20. I have edited a couple myself, but yeah, it takes some time.

Roll20 definitely isn't "where it's at" if you're looking for content, support for various game systems, etc. (I think FantasyGrounds is way above them there). However, the UI and ease of use (and ability to use on a variety of operating systems) has made Roll20 the only game in town for my groups (quite literally).
If I have pieced together the Roll20 issue about content from other threads (mostly regarding PF2) it's that this is 100% on Roll20 and their staff to program for that service. I don't think it's even an option that the designers can make.

I think you are right, there is something in the dmsguild agreement that does not allow you to sell your product elsewhere unless is thru the dmsguild itself.

That is correct. Any content created for the DMs Guild, which is completely separate from your other publishing efforts, must remain exclusive to DMs Guild. It cannot be listed anywhere else, not even on DriveThruRPG.com Source.

It may not last long lol but on this day, after 475 days since it reached #1, MME is back at #1. And after 228 days since its release, MME2 is right back up there at #2. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE here who supported the books!

I have both FG and Roll20, and I completely agree, FG is better for content support and integration of automation, but I find FG a bitch to use and understand, while Roll20 is more intuitive, and frankly, it looks better.

I just received both books. They are top quality and tomorrow, I'll give quite a positive review. I am really impressed by the quality of both the books and work that went into creating them. WotC could not have done it better. In fact, I think I'll check up other products from the same creator. If these two were that good, I can't possibly be disapointed by his other works.
Unlimited thumbs up for me. Only two thumbs are obviously not enough.
