heh, I'd like to make it very clear that being a mutineer was written into my pregenerated character, and I do not NORMALLY attempt to gut the team leader then stab her repeatedly in the back to suck up to a zombie... (fun, fun game...)

So thats what you said your logon was. If I looked totally confused before, it was because I was trying to parse that as "Coccoon-somethingsomething" ...

That crazy meeting people face-to-face thing is weird. :D

I dunno what you're all wettin' yourselves for. I've played with Piratecat. He's nothin' great. Really. All this story hour? Made up. He doesn't even have a group. Just hides up in his bedroom, rolling his dice, if you know what I mean.

I think you misunderstand the enthusiasm. Everyone was thinking, "Yah, pirates! Pirates are cool! Cooler than monkeys, even. But that Piratecat guy is creepy, always playing with his dice and offering to let you look at his peg leg. But pirates, yah!"

You know, I couldn't ask for better players. You guys are great.

Darrrrr!

And Ron, your illustration of Firebeard fill me with glee. :D

[grumble] Yeah. Rub it in for all those of us who couldn't be there [/grumble]

Don't mind me. I'm just annoyed I have to wait until Saturday to play in a game.

You know it was quite the game, because it ended with two PC's effectively (and heroically!) dead, one turncoat murderer and mutineer grovelling to an evil zombie pirate as he helped hold in the seazombie's rotting intestines, and the stiff-necked British navy officer finishing off the undead pirate captain while standing on the lip of a cliff with a fiery Spanish hidalga clinging to his arm.

Oh yeah - I borrowed shamelessly from a half-dozen sources, but it was great fun.

Yarrrrr!

"ARRR! I'll keelhaul ye landlubbers with be +5 barnacles of meat grinding! ARRR!"

Dammit, that sounds fun as hell! Too bad Jersey and Massuchusetts have that several hundred mile gap thingy goin on...:(
