Okay, sneaky plan is evolving. I have contacted Al, Morrus' friend, and he's getting in touch with Morrus' girlfriend. Between the two of them, we'll work on getting a photo!

Even better, Morrus recently mentioned that he's going to have trouble affording the trip this year.

In addition to the offer from Monte Cook and Mystic Eye Games, I just got an email from rpghq.net. I'll quote...

I would like to offer as a prize a years worth of web hosting to a random donator to the fund.

100 meg file space
3000 meg badnwidth (3 gig)
10 email accounts
2 mailing lists
2 ftp accounts
1 mysql database

Equates out to $72 for a years worth of hosting. No strings attached, no linkbacks, or adverts or anything required on the website.

I have lurked for ever on the enworld site and only recently setup a login to participate on the forums.

The user would have the option of subdomain hosting within the following
domains:

rpghq.net
rpgworld.net
rpworld.net
d20rpg.net
deathland.net

Anyhow figured it would be cool, and a kick in the pants to reward folks for helping subsidize Morrus' trip and get a bit of publicity for my web hosting site which you can see from the domains available for the subdomain hosting is geared towards rpg'ers.

...just in a happy mood today as the web hosting service is starting to pay for itself and I kinda got caught up in reading the whole thread getting the donations for Morrus for Gencon just now.

Sweet, now that would be cool to win. Mind you I have no idea for a website but damn that would be cool. I love it that Morrus has stated that it might be difficult to expense the trip ( I hate it that he has to tighten his belt mind you). God I can not wait for this little shoe of ours to drop. I bet he will be speechless and getting his roommate and girlfriend involved is just damn devious.

Final, when all is said and done? A bit more than $2000.

With a bit less than 90 people, that's roughly about $25 a person. Some gave more (or a lot more!), some gave less, but I found the amount of kindness to be astounding.
