Wife over did the Bailey's the other night. Very light drinker but was gifted a bottle for 20 years at her workplace.
Midnight got a but messy. Self inflicted. There's a reason I leave it at beer. 6-10 no hangover or vomit. 15 or more you're gonna suffer. Her limits about half mine.

Can't post pictures. I'm down to about 1-2 beers a week. Mostly rotate between my 5 or 6 favorites.
I quite like the Ukrainian Svelte in the reasonably priced lager category along with Peroni, Asahi Grolsch and Carlsberg Pilsner. Those are the easily available macro beers.
Stopped on craft beers. To fruity or whatever. Still liking imported European lagers.
Fir NZ stuff occasional premium beer but I like a dark lager and hoppy pilsner. Imported dark and amber lagers also nice so I think I like those types.
SiL makes good cocktails. Bit to sweet generally for me. Quantities she drinks I'm one of the few in tgat group who can keep up. Free booze drinking companion. Wife came home a but pickled on Saturday due to those cocktails lol.
Still depressingly sober since January. One of the D&D players got a few shots into me on my birthday light buzz but not drink as such.
Had a really nice euro lager Tuesday night maybe Monday. 6 pack of kilkenny went down great over a week. Hard drinking for me.

Approaching 84 hours without power, but at least some of the neighbors have it and town is intact. Hoping the best for those in our upstate and those in western North Carolina.
Anyway, the cooler full of ice keeps them cold.

I'm a fan of Mexican style stouts, but not usually a big barrel aged fan. This was more chocolatey than my usual and a bit less hot, but really good. Wouldn't have known it was barrel aged if I didn't look it up.
Anyway, the cooler full of ice keeps them cold.

Rough storm effects went invade more than usual?
One of my players lgifted me a beer. One of his hombrews. Probably a 500 or 600ml bottle.
Bit more bitter than personal preference but by the bottom of the bttke was enjoying it. For a first attempt it was very good. Hit me hard enough as well.
He's got the new batch and different style laid down already.
Was also gifted a Filipino beer. Local cafe we frequent and I've gifted some beers to the husband and we swap notes. It was 8% 3.2 standard drinks in the can. Kicked like a mule. Kinda sweet but enjoyed it. For a 8% strong beer it was smooth and pretty good.
7 beers over last couple of weeks. Heavy drinking lol. Might look into that brew your own hmmnn.

I'm trying out a new round of shrubs, my last attempts were pretty popular with guests. They're a little sweet for me, but people seem to like something a little more conventionally soda-like to try with the seltzer tap.
On the left we have a blueberry pomegranate in the little bottles and a peach cardamom, both in apple cider vinegar and then a strawberry in red wine vinegar.

For Lexington and Richland county in central South Carolina, it is apparently the worst for down trees and wind damage since Hurricane Hugo in September, 1989 - but I'm not sure it is as bad for us as the 1,000 year flood in 2015.
A lot of the towns and cities in the mountains of Western North Carolina are completely devastated though ( Maps track Hurricane Helene's 800-mile path of destruction across southeastern US ) with flooding and total power and communications loss. The major highway I-40 connecting North Carolina and Kentucky might be down for a year.
