Missed the gym today. Total failure of a day pretty much top to bottom.

Did a bonus session last night (just machine pec flies, lat pulldowns, and lateral raises), since I won't have time to go tonight. Might fit a session in tomorrow though, between seeing Sinners again early and my evening plans.

Had PT after work yesterday as well, and managed to do my exercises for that yesterday morning and this morning. Motivation, motivation, and just fitting in the time...
 


Chest/Shoulders in the usual configuration.

70s on Dips, 180 (easy) on Bench.

Everything else was typical and good.

I'm going to drop to 45 on Dips, until I talk to Physio.

I'm going to sneak in tomorrow for cardio and core, since I'm going to be working all weekend otherwise.
 



Was out late dancing Saturday night, couldn't get up early enough to hit the gym before book club in the morning and was feeling too tired afterward, but by 6pm I was feeling restless and motivated enough to haul my butt off the couch.

Did a little elliptical warm up and noticed my calves were definitely sore from dancing and my quads felt it a bit too, but I was determined to do some leg work and still got in three good sets of leg press + calf raises. Also a few sets of dumbbell bench and of triceps extensions. That should leave me fresh enough to do some other muscle groups after work tonight.

Typical stuff, but!

I went to do my Dips, and I thought, why. Why is this painful, this makes no sense.

So I stood and looked at the bars, and I thought, it's too wide. Again, I'm a small guy. So I THINK I was doing essential wide Dips, with 90 lbs hanging off me.

So in a moment of wisdom I put that aside, did Bench.

90, 140, 180, 200. Minimal pain.

Did Dips on a different machine, no plates, and minimal pain.

So that's probably it.

Either way, feeling good. Clearly losing a bit around the belly, weight still creeping up.

If I can get this shoulder addressed I hope to smash June, and then spend July shirtless. :D
