Burger me!

I have to ask, when it comes to burgers, does anyone here order them less than Medium-Well?

I've been taught all my life how dangerous that is and still remember the Jack-in-the-Box e.coli fiasco in the 90's. Why is it all of a sudden normalized? Did something change or are people just more daring again?
I do sometimes, especially if the burgers are very big. But I can not imagine ordering one that way from Jack in the Box, both because it seems wildly unsafe and because they already mess things up enough when I don't even try to customize a burger.

I always take as is. I'm guessing thats well done.
If it's not squishy and pink, then yeah, well done. (y)

I order medium, and sometimes still cook mine at home medium rare.

If I’m pre-cooking them intentionally for storage and reheating, I also go medium rare.

Throughout my life, 99% of my orders from Jack in the Box have been Breakfast Jacks.

I love those; can’t stand their burgers.

I don't trust sausage or ground beef that I didn't grind myself. I know it's being strictly regulated, and I know its tested multiple times before it even gets to the store, et cetera, but my brain doesn't care: if I didn't grind it myself, I need it cooked Well Done.

(But if I grind it myself? Medium Rare, please.)

Egg on burger pretty common stateside.

Very here and has been long as I can remember.

McDonald's does a kiwiburger with beetroot and egg. Not a big fan.

A "deluxe" (various names) burger has egg, bacon, pineapple. Common in fish and chip shops. Restaurants often do egg+bacon.

Chicken burgers need bacon and/or a good sauce.

Friday night. Burger night here. I'm making chicken. Sauce is sweet onion aioli mixed with a habenero hot sauce.

Kicked the wife out of the kitchen for the week.

I actually forgot I had a burger for breakfast today. I was not fully awake and when I walked out of my room, my room mate handed me a burger and an iced coffee. The burger was chorizo/beef blend and had an egg, pickled carrots and jalapenos, and I think caramelized onion. But it was in the period of time after I wake up, before I've had coffee so it's very hazy.
