Virtual Happy Hour (Brews & Spirits, Pics & Reviews)

One each from the past three days, counting backwards from today...

Untitled Art tends to be either spectacular or meh, and their Chocolate Espresso Stout with Chicago's Dark Matter Coffee is really good at delivering what it's name promises! Happily the flavors and sweetness aren't too much, and you don't notice it is 11% ABV.

Savage Jack pumpkin ale from Savage Craft. Maybe a bit too sparkly with the spice up front and a bit too pumpkin at the end, but a solid pumpkin choice.

Limoncello sour from Columbia Craft, as I try out some other sour flavors. I prefer the lime ones I've had, but this was pretty good.

Mr Boring. Been struggling to find Krombachee. Recently was $6 usd a 6 pack. 20251006_194524.jpg

Doh. Double the price now however sigh.

Wife bought some apple strudel Baileys to try.

Eastern European ho tos are getting harder to find. Stopped drinking Russian beers years ago (2022 reasons).

Changed venues for D&D. We play in a private event room/bar. Beer downstairs was ok bought a pint while mate bought a jug.

Couple of German beers and a Lithuanian one are my favorite macro lagers.

Couple of NZ beers are up there. Happy Pilsner and APAs are decent.

D&D the other day. Private room bar.
Downstairs they sell booze.

One of my players just having "the one"

Long weekend. Bought a 10 pack for $1.20 a can. Favourite cheap lager.

Rated way higher than I thought it woukd get. Expected a 67-72 range. Being picky about 75 for me 90 for cheap lager category. Hot summer day camping and you need lots and nearest booze store is an hour away its a 10 (after the first 6 and you need 3 dozen on hand).

Haven't cracked any yet. 2 in the fridge.

Thought I woukd get through 3 of them. Left the small green one in the fridge.

Couple of my favorites and favorite reasonably priced macro lager.

Irish 79

Carlsberg Pilsner 83

Think this might be a favorite.

More Emersons here. Local beer brewed in my city.

They do a very nice hopped pilsner as well and Bookbinder a 3.8% session ale.

Planning on washing down dinner with a 8% Red Horse Filipino beer but ive got the option of Pilsner and some ales. Wife got those top beers for 60 cents a can they retail for a lot more than that espicially the Emersons.

Right now.
Favorite cheap veer. Carlsberg Pilsners

Favorite Macrolagers. Volfas Engelmann, Krombacher,

Favorite NZ beers. Emerson range (Pilsners espicially), Monteith Black, Macs Hopped Pilsners

Favorite Expensive Beer. Good George range, Kilkenny Irish ale.

Pilsners and European lagers and hopped NZ Pilsners @payn are up there. Kilkenny costs double the price normal beers.

Gone off IPAs. I'll drink them but eh.

Black lagers also interesting hard to find except Monteiths Black.
