I feel you sir (I say on a thread I started).Amusingly, this is why I hardly bother to post new threads anymore, I have likely over half the active posters on the site on ignore, so whats the point.

Yeah, it got to a point near the end of last year where either I was going to get myself banned, or I just start ignoring people so I do not have the desire to correct them.
I would not hold your breath. I don't know that it is a priority for Xenforo.
Yes. We already knew that. There are two basic states:
"I no longer see your stuff"
and
"I no longer see your stuff, and you cannot see mine."
The latter is the issue. At the moment, if you cannot see my posts, that means you cannot see threads in which mine is the first post.
We would prefer if it allowed the blocked person to still see the thread. And it did work that way for a while, but the behavior changed.
@Morrus does Xenforo allow you to add instructions to the settings where a user enables Two-Way Ignore? If so, maybe adding a note like
"Note that this will prevent users you ignore from seeing any thread that you start in its entirety." could help cut down on this happening? I know it does not happen often, but it seems very disruptive when it does.

Hard agree. I just prefer to exercise self control and walk away. Besides if you block someone, you might miss something interesting they say in the future. One moment doesn't really define anyone, IMO
