What is/are your most recent TTRPG purchase(s)?

I recently bought a few plastic chainlink rulers.
For a while, I've had a preference for not using a grid (neither square nor hex,) so these have been great.

Alright. I have been seeing this ad for a tabletop projector and while I try and ignore most things that come across my feed, this one has me curious. I am considering buying one (not necessarily this model, but generally. )

Has anyone here used a projector for battlemaps? How does it work? Is it worth the cost? What hidden costs are built in? How difficult is transport since i would want to use it for con games?

Almost got Green Ronin's a Song of Ice and Fire from Half Price Books. I didn't because it wasn't half MSRP. Oh, and I bought a $7 pain au chocolat while at a pre-session. The pain was horrible!

I wonder if playing with 3d4 would be easier or harder than with 2d6 to "shut the box"?
Obviously, your chances of rolling a 2 are significantly lower on 3d4.

And even ignoring that, 3d4 would have a much lower chance of rolling the extreme values. On 2d6, the chances of a 2 or a 12 are 1 in 36 each. On 3d4, the chances of a 3 or a 12 are 1 in 64 each.

I finally got the physical books for Draw Steel today, which I ordered from my FNSLGS a few months ago. I also got emails telling me there's a minis kickstarter/gamefound heading my way, as well as another thing which I'm not sure what it is but is likely to be the Han Cluster for Savage Worlds.

However, I will be heading out of town on Sunday, and not be back until Monday after Christmas. So I guess the latter two will have to wait at the post office/grocery store.
