That’s clearly a joke playing on his name.(and him having his pronouns on his desk sign is just going to accelerate this).

It gets better. His name on his desk is "Adam Glenn." In the Filmation cartoon, there is an episode that reveals that his mother was an astronaut from Earth by the name of Marlena Glenn who landed on Eternia. That’s clearly a joke playing on his name.
I'm sure that joke will not go over the head of any conservative commentators. That’s clearly a joke playing on his name.

Adam is a descendant of King Grayskull, so yeah.Nepo baby!
I feel like I've seen that done by other companies as parody, but not by MGM itself. It might be a great big no-no -- either from corporate on-high (once we start letting people do that, every film we make will feel compelled to do the same), or maybe for legal reasons (diluting one's own IP, perhaps?). I'm prepared to be wrong, but it just seems like they've missed opportunities enough in that regard that there's a reason for it not to be.The MGM logo was a missed opportunity. Should have had Cringer/Battle Cat in it.
Other studios do it. Columbia in the Columbia Pictures opening has done all sorts of crazy stuff. Twentieth Century Fox has too. I think MGM are just fuddy duddies about it.I feel like I've seen that done by other companies as parody, but not by MGM itself.
