And now I am once again clearing the damn driveway, after snowfall Friday night into Saturday morning. Less than half of what we got the last time, but still enough that I passed several accidents on the way home from work 8AM Sat. morning - a trip which took me roughly twenty minutes longer than usual.
Did fine on the roads home all the way to my neighborhood, vis a vis slipping, but once I got onto the hill that leads to my road of residence, the 500 or so feet I had to travel was entirely done by spending 5 minutes snake-walking* my car up the hill...

Pro Winter Driving Tip: If your tires start spinning when going up a hill...
Shift your car into Low gear. Turn on 4WD if not already on. Turn your steering wheel far enough to the side that you're basically heading diagonally (literally almost sideways) across the road and very slowly, very gently accelerate just the tiniest bit till you start moving, then once you get to the side of the road, reverse the wheel and go the opposite direction across the road. Each pass will only move you forward a few feet, but eventually you'll get there.

Is the idea to go against the grain, so to speak?

If it's real, a couple got married during the halftime show. I think that's a first. This has been a very different halftime show.

I think another first; nearly all Spanish. Lady Gaga sang in English, and Bad Bunny said a sentence in English. And so many plants. It was one of the best halftime shows.

Getting the car to move horizontally is applying less force against the amount of traction your tires have, since you're not fighting gravity as much.

This big guy is outside of a Mellow Mushroom pizza restaurant. It's a chain started in Atlanta in the 70's. I've been aware of it for a long time but have never eaten at one despite my love of pizza.

As I recall, Gaga sang in both Spanish and English.

And I found out today that the plants- supposed to be sugarcane in particular- were not mere props on carts, but actually live performers in suits.
