One thing to note - Polearm Master reactive strike is not an opportunity attack so if he ever comes up against an NPC/Monster who is really good with a Polearm he may be surprised that they can attack him when he first comes within 10' of them.

Yes, they can also do this with a ready action as well even without the feat. Like I said it is neat, but it is not OP.

A controlled mount moves on your turn (it does not get a separate turn) but it does not use "your movement" so enemies can't make an AOO against you.
you did not used YOUR movement so that does prevents AoO, but you did moved during your turn, and Aim is prevented if you moved during your turn.

And also it goes against basic logic of aiming in general.
