Spoilers Daredevil: Born Again season two discussion

So, question for those following.

Is BB on the hit list now that Daniel has been in the hot seat and been made complicit with Buck's activities?
Yeah, I’m really worried for BB now. I had to go back and double-check that the body in the trunk wasn’t hers. Of course, it was the North Star first mate’s corpse.

As to Vanessa, yes they played that well. Bait and switch perhaps, but I think believable. It remains to be seen exactly what Fisk will do, but I think the Daredevil/Bullseye conversations pegged it correctly. Fisk will go to war and leave no stone unturned to find the two of them.
Yes on all counts.

I’m still can’t get over the ridiculousness of an English guy called “Buck Cashman”.
I always assumed it was a fake name…but yeah it’s a bad name (fake or not) for an Englishman

That said in the flashback buck seemed decidedly less “English”. Is the English aesthetic just part of the act?

Well I suppose he might be lying but he did say he was in the SAS.

BB is ultimately Daniel’s final test…does he commit to Fisk completely (and turn in his friend/love interest) or does his humanity win out
A fair take, and yet I think the writers and producers will throw us a curve ball on this one. One shocking death (or even threat of death) a season I think is all that can be fit in to the format of the show.

Bullseye may still die this season, but I would not see that as shocking after everything else we have seen with the character.

BB on the other hand, I think there is still some development there to grow in the future. Her death would be a shock, and would likely push Karen into a much worse headspace than she is already in, but I think it might hit much more as a fridging situation (not a true one since it would be female character dying for another female character's development) than what we saw for Vanessa.

But, time will tell.

Cheers :)

yeah it felt like an American pretending to be a British thug, but with bad costuming and average acting - which is kinda surprising since the actor grew up in South London. Maybe Artemas just isnt very good at acting thug, he did go to a very posh school :p

No, Daniel said he was in the SAS. He never confirmed nor denied anything. The only thing he said was that Daniel 'didn't want a squaddie poaching his kill.'
Oh! The comicbook Buck Cashman is ex-CIA, it would be quite the twist to discover that Buck has been a deep plant in Fisks operation the whole time even more so if its Buck who protects/saves BB and ultimately brings Fisk down

Hmmm ... maybe he is ex-CIA (although the run in with the real CIA tends to discount that). Even if he is though, I don't think we will see the twist of him turning on Fisk. He has far too much blood on his hands (both seen and implied) for that to be in any way a believable turn.

It would also be a bit of a cop out by the writers since they have already explored that angle with Bullseye (although in Bullseye's case we are fully in on the fact that he is delusional about being a hero, or even an anti-hero).

Cheers :)
