5e Kensei and Martial Arts Rules 1

No permission to download
This is my homebrew 5th edition update to the AD&D OSR Kensai class from Oriental Adventures. The class is broken into two subclasses, a Weapon Master, and a Martial Arts Master (like Sensei, Sifu, etc.). It can be considered a variant of the fighter class, with no armor or magical weapons.

The second half of the document is devoted to martial arts, which are available to all classes, not just kensei. The opening text includes edited translations of writings and quotes of Miyamoto Musashi, Bruce Lee, Lao Tzu, and Morehei Ueshiba, in ways relevant to the class theme and purpose.

This version is not perfect. It is version 1.6 and I've already found typos. Feedback is welcome, I expect some will love it, some will hate it. Great ideas from feedback or considerations may end up in version 1.7. As always, if something is too powerful or broken for your campaign setting, pretend you didn't read it and use what you like, skip what you don't.
