No, what generally happens with SW/Trek is that at some point you realize that, despite sharing alot of elements (space ships, lasers, aliens, etc) they aren't really the same type of thing.

My current 5e game is becoming an all Elf party. We have an 1/2Elven Paladin (glory), Wood Elf Wizard (necro), High Elf Wizard (evocation) & a Human Fighter/Warlock. I figure it's on;y a matter of time before the Ftr/Warlock gets retired & that player makes a damned Elf as well.

And if I can't attend GC? Then I hope that it's because they canceled it, not that I was unable to attend or felt it an unwise trip. That way my unbroken attendance streak remains unbroken. :)

This. I'm a 1e DM running 5e. There might be a number of things going on in a round. But even then my rounds - combat or otherwise - don't really have a time limit. Rather they expand/contract in relation to the plot. But however long they are, setting them to 6 seconds is just plain silly...
