I always used to pick up the pocket editions of the Paizo books I carried to games, but eyestrain font is now much more of a thing with me so I've backed off doing that which makes me sad. I really liked the size and weight of the pocket editions. Getting old is a drag.

I believe the item on the back of the photographer is a camera stand. As for the rifle, that certainly does looks awkward. I believe she is supposed to be fishing around in her pouch for some ammo while still holding the rifle in her other hand braced and ready to shoot.
