    ZEITGEIST Question about Calendars (Zeitgeist)

I know there are no months in Zeitgeist and the passage of time is measured by seasons. Does each season have a fixed amount of days within it? Are some seasons longer in a particular year?

Pathfinder 1E Always on Time (Pathfinder) is here

Sounds like it's time for another Kickstarter.

Update from the Front (Conversions and Adventure 5)

Early July? That's like the best news I've heard all day. Is there a way that I can proxy buy you a beer at Gen-con? I won't be there in the flesh, but I'd totally donate to the Adventure 5 Alcoholic Motivation Fund.

WotBS How would you rate ZEITGEIST and WotBS?

Awesome! Any idea on when a draft or something will be posted on the Gold Forum?

WotBS How would you rate ZEITGEIST and WotBS?

I agree that the DM should be prepared to improvise when necessary. However, in a campaign that stresses that lethal force is frowned upon, I think that survival of major opponents is something worth mentioning. D'oh! You are correct. This may be in part of my own perception of the...

WotBS How would you rate ZEITGEIST and WotBS?

I suppose they're a little a railroady in that some encounters assume the party does/ or does not kill certain NPCs. For example: What if the party chooses not to kill Cillian Creed at the end of Dying Skyseer, or if the party manages to take out Lorcan Kell during Digging for Lies? I...

WotBS How would you rate ZEITGEIST and WotBS?

I can't speak much for Pathfinder, though I know Paizo produces some top-notch material. For D&D 4E, however, I can't think of an adventure path better than Zeitgeist. I've played quite a few of the official WOTC adventures and read other third party modules, but nothing compares. Fights are...

    Martial Scientist Attacks

I noticed in The Dying Skyseer that Surgical Precision had a gp cost attached to it, but the attacks gained in Digging for Lies and Always on Time do not. I'm curious if there's supposed to be a cost associated with learning these maneuvers. I figured the 2,600gp listed cost for Surgical...

ZEITGEIST #4: Always on Time (4E)

I almost want to skip over the rest of Digging for Lies just so I can jump right into this one.

    Digging for Lies Questions

What happens if a PC uses the staff as an implement for their own powers? Do they run the risk of summoning monsters from Apet?

Digging For Lies - Ziggurat Rainbow Puzzle

But what's stopping a group in the map room from just going through the southern door and into the rainbow room, bypassing the ritual?

Digging For Lies - Ziggurat Rainbow Puzzle

That was something else I was curious about. There's not really a description of the doors to the Rainbow room. What's to stop PCs bashing down the north-side doors and completely bypassing the puzzle?

Digging For Lies - Ziggurat Rainbow Puzzle

I like the idea of putting a force field in front of the entrance to the portal room....like a white barrier that would require them to solve the rainbow room in order to remove the barrier.

Status of Adventure 4, Always on Time

I'm looking forward to the next adventure. Keep up the great work RangerWicket and company. My group meets every two weeks, and we just made it to the Ziggurat portion of Digging for Lies. I'm excited to lead my group on the first true dungeon crawl of the campaign. My players spent some...

Digging For Lies - Ziggurat Rainbow Puzzle

A question about the Ziggurat in general, is it possible for the PCs to trigger the flood trap without even going to the Rainbow room? It would seem that they could choose to go one way through the "dungeon", get to the portal room, trip the trap, and flee without ever getting to the other side...

    Distant Madness

I agree. Insight would be a great skill to use to determine the change in behavior. I wonder if Arcana can also be used to determine the presence of Distant Madness since it's mentioned to be a magical disease.

    Distant Madness

Thanks! I have one PC at Stage 1, and I have feeling it's only going to get worse for the party...especially in the Ziggurat of Apet dungeon. I plan on giving out index cards that each have a single stage of the disease on it so my players will only know what happens at their particular...

    Distant Madness

Another question for RangerWicket, does the Distant Madness disease have any physical symptoms? Is a psychological analysis necessary to diagnosis whether or not someone has the disease? Can another PC make a Heal check in place of the Insight check at the end of every extended rest?

    Lorcan Kell (Spoilers...maybe)

Interesting. Very interesting. That does answer my question, and gives me some extra food for thought. Spoilers My campaign has diverged a bit. Instead of killing Cillian Creed in the laboratory, my party subdued him and put him under arrest. Saxby, who I assumed knew who Creed was and who...

    Lorcan Kell (Spoilers...maybe)

My PCs had one of their contacts do some looking in the financial records concerning the buying selling of the factories referenced in "The Documents". They got a list of owners. Some Streetwise checks were made to get some details about the owners, and the PCs learned that the factory owners...
