Thats a good point. Say subdual damage vs medium and larger creatures and deadly damage vs everything else, so they can still take out gnome commoners and rodents, and beat into unconsciousness horses and ogres and such.

You could probably find a whole lot of mages who would argue that magic is an elemental force of nature, and therefore its effects are natural. They would say that its just a science, like alchemy, or leeching. To them a fireball might be as natural as a thunderstorm, just a bit more...

Yeah, they look like they are all engaged in some pretty somber business. The portraits you posted here are slightly different though, No.1 looks positively cheeky, and as for guilty No.3....! Great pyramid too!

Thanks to my brother who never misses an opportunity, after slaying any low-grade undead we now declare that we ´search the zombies for treasure´. It works for skeletons too.

The Drow Samurai looks amazing. I like the texture on his robe (and the beard too!). He looks so calm and tranquil, if he´s evil it would be a subtle undercurrent of evil that flows through him.
