[artwork, hosted] Cyber Style art and Forge of Fury play aid!

Another fan here, who thinks your color stuff leaps off the screen and is great. But this is the first time I've noticed a pencil drawing by you, and I think your pencils look even more outstanding than your color work! I, for one, vote for more pencil work!

    New FR DM Screen impressions

Re: Review that appeared on Realms-L Cool, this is exactly what I was looking for! For my FR campaign it sounds perfect, a vast improvement over the original 3e screen. For others there's probably a few wasted bits, as non-FR campaigns don't need the Roll of Years or Calendar of Harptos. (In...

    New FR DM Screen impressions

I'm hoping someone's picked up the new FR DM screen and can tell us about it. I was not a fan of the original 3e DM screen -- I thought their choice of tables wasn't very helpful, and I wasn't crazy about the layout or the stock they printed it on. Can some kind soul tell us what's new/different...

What's your favorite super hero RPG?

Actually, compared to a lot of systems, it is hard. Especially since you're not often asked to add 12+15+3+2, per your example. And its the very flexibility of the system that often causes the most trouble. More likely example: My superhero has a 75 pt. Variable Power Pool, from which she...

[OT] I'm back from San Francisco...

Do we know how lucky we are! Of course, it's what we pay for... damn things are expensive out here. Why do you think so many of us move to Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver? As for sunny, well, perhaps you're mistaking us for Southern California -- that's the thing you see on TV all the time...

    Savannah Knights Redux

Well, we couldn't get our whole club through the security checkpoints at the airport in time for the flight, so we thought we'd reschedule. How's next weekend? Can you get your crowd control people in place in time? ;)

    Savannah Knights Redux

Great! Thanks, RangerWickett! I'll just gather up the local fan club ("The Savannah Squires") and we'll hop on a plane. This weekend good for y'all?

[NWN] Looks like the storms are past...

Not correct. SSI designed it, and UbiSoft published it. Neither Infogrammes or Interplay were involved with Pool of Radiance at all. If they had been, then my friends at Infogrammes would have worked on the game. Infrogrammes only recently acquired the rights from Hasbro. NWN will be the first...

    Savannah Knights Redux

You mean you didn't notice you had fans the last few times we heaped praise on Savannah Knights? *Of course* you have fans! It's a wonderfully original setting, with a fun premise and a great flip on using traditional D&D in a very untraditional way. (Now if someone would just let slip what...

Piratecat's Updated Story Hour! (update 4/03 and 4/06)

My. The Defenders (and Abernathy's Company) are held up by my group as the paragon of high-level adventuring, and those of us that read these story hours have a good time relating their tales to those we game with. Ever since the trillith fight, the cleverness and raw firepower of the Defenders...

    Savannah Knights Redux

If any of you out there haven't read this story, you should give it a gander. It's a fantastic example of how to run D&D in a non-classical sense, without changing the core rules. It's also a great yarn, and long ago earned it's place in Story Hour Forum history.
