I'd like to see better editing of products before they come out. I'd also like to see a print run of the more popular third party products get the Fourth Edition treatment.

Expensive enough to buy a PC and not even worth the price? No way. It will be more like the NES or Wii an instant classic I think.

I am hoping that there isn't any dungeonpunk art in this edition! I enjoy the more believable art.

My turn to DM hasn't come up yet but I plan on using 4.0 rules when it does (even if it's just what we know currently).

All the time, the group I'm in for the most part doesn't need to use 3.5. We will use the classes & feats out of 3.0 & 3.5 depending on what a player wants to do. Core is 3.0 though.

How is this really different than the splat books for 3.0 or 3.5? I mean I see that tehy are going to release a PHB DMG & MM annually which would be cool but how is that drastically different than what is going on now? I mean content wise mainly.

Well, I didn't actually vote because there wasn't a choice for me (I've not seen enough of his stuff to determine if I like his work or not).

Any book that has OGL stuff in it will still be viable to me as I plan on doing some fun stuff with it IMO. So if it has OGL I will consider getting it. Which in affect means no post 3.0/3.5 SRD WoTC stuff. other than UA.

I was thinking about playing in the living greyhawk setting but if they're going to do a FR version, nope I'm not going to sign up for that garbage no thanks.

I'll probably convert the third party stuff that I've got in accordance with the OGL.

I hope they use as much stuff from Iron Heroes as they can. That and not messing with some classic spells like Magic Missile, Fireball, Enervation and others. Though some need to be dealt with no matter what such as Polymorph spells.

I'm not about to read 4 pages set @ 50 posts each so a simple answer please, will it be viable on Linux?

Everything that hasn't been done yet for the d20 system that has been statted up in previous editions. Even if that means more than one book.
