Pricing for Energy Resistant Armor and Shields

A suit of armor or a shield cannot have higher than +10 equivalent in abilities. Adding anything that does not cost "a +" will let you get other things on your armor, after you've "maxed it out". In other words, I can have +5 Plate Mail of Heavy Fortification (+5 ability) and still add...

    Warforged and Slam Attacks

If a PC is wielding two weapons, but only makes one attack, do they still suffer the two-weapon fighting penalties with that single attack? If you believe that they do suffer the penalties, then give penalties to the warforged with two Battlefists as though it was fighting with two weapons. If...

What's a good magic item for 10 grand or less?

You had the use of a minor artifact and you have a +7 equivalent sword, as well as several smaller magic items (2 rings, a robe, a cloak, armor, a wand, a pair of boots, a set of eyes, and an amulet: 7 out of 11 slots filled, 8 if you count the doubling up you've done on the robe and armor) and...

    Planewalking Bounty Hunter?

It's not really a bounty hunter per se, but check out the Justicar (originally appeared in Dragon Magazine) in Complete Warrior. Built around bringing criminals back alive to face justice, several abilities to help in tracking and then taking down your prey without killing them.

    Wildshape (polymorph) question

Yes, you would still retain Venom Immunity. Venom Immunity is an Extraordinary ability. Wild Shape states that it acts like Polymorph, which states that it acts like Alter Self. Alter Self states that:

    Magic weapons with no "bonus"

Actually, according to the RAW in 3.5, whether a magic weapon has a bonus to hit or not DOES matter in bypassing damage reduction. From the SRD:

    Druids & Dire Animals?

Nope. In fact, the PHB uses the dire bear as an example of the hit die limitation.

Any race or template with Detect Thoughts

Well, this race has a +4 LA as well, but a Pixie would give you everything you needed for both Warshaper and Mindspy (Polymorph and Detect Thoughts as spell-like abilities) as well as a large list of great abilities (DR, SR, invisibility, flight, spell-like abilities, etc). Also, since the...

Fighter uses own XP to help craft magic item!

Well, my party uses this variant rule from the Epic Level Handbook, but that is for one PC making items for another PC.

Cloak of manta ray allows casting?

emphasis mine Well, it depends on how much difference you want between your "nearly identical to a manta ray" and a true manta ray to be. Since you can remove your arms from the cloak, there is at least one difference since manta rays do not have arms. If you rule that the character retains...

D&D 3E/3.5 Ring of Warmth Conversion to 3.5

Well, looking at the 3.0 DMG, the Ring of Warmth protects the wearer as if he had endure elements (cold) cast upon him. Looking at the Boots of the Winterlands in the same book, one of the abilities the Boots grant is protection as if from endure elements (cold). So, looking at the 3.5 Boots of...

Between Wee Jas and a hard place ...

You might want to take a look at the book again (emphasis mine): This tells me that lawful neutral clerics of Wee Jas don't get a choice like other neutral clerics do; they ALWAYS rebuke or command undead. Clerics of Wee Jas with a different alignment would follow the alignment restrictions.

weapons imbued with cure light wounds?

Sure it's possible. There's even a precedent in the DMG, although using a different spell.

    The Glove of Storing.

That's how we use the Glove in our campaign. You must be holding the shield in your hand, not strapped to your arm and ready to use, to place the shield into the glove. When you recall the shield from the Glove, it appears in your hand and you still need a move action to ready it for use.

PC fell down pit but it takes standard action to activate Boots of Levitation!

The Boots are for getting out of the pit; if your PC wants to avoid damage from falling into the pit, he/she needs Feather Falling.

How much weight can a cart/wagon carry?

Try the 3.0 PHB; a cart holds 1/2 ton, sled holds 1 ton and a wagon holds 2 tons. I don't know why they left this table out of the 3.5 PHB (as well as the tables that show how much backpacks, pouches, etc hold), I found those table to be extremely useful.

Can I squeeze an augmented Half-Cloud Giant/Half-White Dragon in a 20 ft. cube?

I think this is where the confusion is happening; what makes you think a creature's space = a cube? A creature's space does not equal the creature's size. A creature's space is the number of squares a creature takes up on a battle grid in order to fight effectively, as described in the front of...
