I think that the psion is a little underpowered, but its a fine class on its own. It works very well with multiclassing though. I mean, whatever type you choose, you could have your prime req. match anotherclasses. Also i think another advantage to the psion lies in the fact that they get power...

24 rounds of combat is a really long time... A Wizard at 18th level could cast a melfs acid arrow 7 times and do an automatic 196d4 damage over 98 rounds that are without save! heheh. Who cares if its that much damage over a certain amount of time. its also long enough for the bad guy you are...

I thought the spell awaken animal or whatnot was ment to take care of the advancement of creatures, since it allowed them to advance in levels? I know that a level 5 spell does take a while to get to, but still, he should be able to buff his creature up enough as it is. jake

I'd say as many as you'd like. I mean how many free actions can one get in a round? I'd disagree with 2 per round though, since there are many situations where you can get more than three. Like if you are hasted, have a quickend spell, and a 5 foot move, or if you have expert tactician, take a 5...

Don't have the book and dm is basically limiting it to the core books and the support books (like tome and blood). He's prolly open to options though. It like gives knowledge as a class skill right? Thanks anyway jake

I just started playing a sorcerer. The two things that really irked me about them were 1. That 2nd level Sorcerer is quite possibly the worst level ever, and 2. That it is virtually impossible to get most of the tome and blood prestige classes. See, almost all the prestige classes need 8 ranks...

Well the reason i was asking because a level 1 character half celestial only has 1 hit dice, and the rules say in the dmg that he should start as if he is alevel 1 character, only the other characters should be level 4. Does that make any sense? Like it seems that the ECL doesnt actually effect...

Why not make in a unarmed attack instead of a touch attack, so that it would provoke an attack of opportunity? Or let Damage Resistance reduce the damage they would suffer by the bonus/level. So a creature with 10 hitdice and damage reduction of 10/+2 would be left with 20+1d4 hp. Or somehting...
