    Your "To Buy" List

Oh yeah, I hadn't heard that Temple Quarter had been announced yet either. That's a definate pick up for me, Thieves' Quarter was excellent.

    What happened to sigs?

Oh sure, now it shows, that figures. Oh well, I guess everyone can just ignore this thread.

    What happened to sigs?

I just noticed that my sig isn't showing on my posts. I checked my user CP and "show sig" is checked. Is something wrong, or has this just been shut off for some reason? No big deal either way, I'm just curious.

Gonna play a scout. I can hear the other players whining already...

Am I correct in guessing that the scout is a new base class from Complete Adventurer?

    Return to Undermountain

I doubt it, it sounds like it'll just be selected rooms revisited here and there, not a serious attempt to convert the whole dungeon. (or even the already detailed parts of it)

    The (new) ENworlder age poll!

I started playing when I was 8, though I wasn't posting about it on the internet then. I probably would've though, if Al Gore had only invented it a little sooner. ;) We share a birthday*, so everyone that sends Tonguez stuff, please be sure to send something to me too. :D *Though as...

Anyone else here rather not play but does like to DM? venty

I like a mix of both. My current situation is pretty close to ideal for me. I'm running my regular D&D game and getting to play in the occasional mini-campaign or one-shot of other systems.

    The (new) ENworlder age poll!

I'll be turning 30 in a few weeks.

How long have you played D&D?

Nearly 22 years. I'll be 30 in a few weeks and I started playing when I was about 8 or so with the Mentzer edition (Elmore cover) red box basic set. A friend got it as a gift, but after he tried to run a few sessions unsuccessfully, I took over DMing and never looked back. I was exposed to...

    Cut To The Chase

So then it's a .PDF right? This is could be good timing for me -- my players are about to head into a mine below a dwarfhold and I was thinking of having a nice minecart chase scene like the one in Temple of Doom.

    Your "To Buy" List

Wow, looking ahead there's not really a lot in the pipeline of interest to me right now. Next purchase will probably be Sharn: City of Towers. In the coming months, I'll probably pick up Lords of Madness, Sandstorm, and Maelstrom, and might be picking up the various Eberron books as long as...

Do you have any dice superstitions

Yes, not that I believe they're in any way routed in logic. I have my DM dice and my player dice. For years I was always the DM because no one in my group runs games, but now through folks I've met here at EN World, I get to play in other games with some regularity. When this first started...

    The End of Rokugan d20

In my opinion, Kara-Tur didn't have a very strong Forgotten Realms flavor, in that sense that it didn't seem as high fantasy/magic. Basically the setting just provided some countries strongly modeled on different periods of Chinese and Japanese history and added just enough fantastic elements...

    When I'm 64...

Oh, I guess I hadn't realized how long a halftime show was. Thanks for the info. Well I didn't see either one of them, but it sure sounds a lot classier than the whole Janet Jackson episode last year. As for Sir Paul, I have nothing against him, but I really think he & John needed each other...

Why all the fuss about who or what is/isn't a god?

A comment in the Against the Cult of the Reptile God thread got me thinking... This seems to come up a lot, whether or not various creatures are really gods, and whether or not they can grant spells. Most often, the talk is about Demon Princes or Archdevils, though not always (Sorceror Kings...

    Where to start with Greyhawk

I see. Well, unfortunately I think the two things (borders and hexes) are mutually exclusive when it comes to Greyhawk maps. If I remember correctly, the original folio, '83 box, and From the Ashes all have hexes, as does the new maps currently being published in Dungeon magazine (which are...

Is an index important to you

I voted "other" - it depends on the book. Large books with lots of details need 'em more than others. It also depends on how detailed the Table of Contents is. But when in doubt, I'd say put it in there, it's most likely more valuable than yet another prestige class or whatever.
