    Why avoid building Cure per day items ?

    Except that in combat you might want your curing to happen faster than 1d8+1 per round... :D There is no official restriction... but there aren't any items besides wands and potions with cure spells that I know of.

    Since we are at 7th lvl... Greater Magic Weapon will soon hit the not amazing +2 bonus. +3 being 4 lvls away. Our Drow wizard made it clear that he won't learn this spell either... :\ Nice comparison of the +1 vs +d6 damage. There is a power in the DM II (I think) that is quite neat...

    How about once a round and the creature once it sucessfully saves its not subject to the curspewing any more ? Running a combat simulator... getting a +1 enhancement was a bit better than Keen as far as damage output. Keen isn't as bad as you guys make it out to be.

    I'll repeat what has already been mentioned... give them a solid reason not too kill one another. :uhoh: Either they work for a big bad guy that doesn't want backstabbing. Remember you have to get them going either through financial or power greed.

    I agree its a bit strong. Yet we haven't seen any fighters specializing in tripping. I think Improved Trip is especially overpowerful when used as an AOO. BTW If you fail your improved trip... you get tripped back. Just a little detail that is easy to oversee.

    If your adjudicating REAL Darkness you should remember that people still can hear and feel ground tremors. The guy wading into the Darkness should know the way back more or less because of the noise his friends are making. If they aren't making it he can shout to them to get a response. Also...

    Unless your facing 1 hit 1 kill weak humanoids... chances are you're going to get hit back... and -4 to attacks means the equivalent of a 4 AC bonus. We are playing a 7th lvl Drows campaign (9th equivalent due to ECL)... DC 15 Will is no small deal. Even Mages will have to make a good save...
