I think the original ToH was designed exactly for the purpose of killing players who wanted to take every item in the dungeon. When my group was in the dungeon, we did fine because we were so paranoid that we refused to mess with anything.

I am thinking about running a campaign with no orcs and in which Elves do not breed with Humans because they are very isolated. So... these two races don't make much sense anymore. I don't want new names for the same races, but what other established Humanoid races would make good PC races with...
