some people use D10's in a number order to count down... or up as the case may be (sometimes its easier for some people to count up) I just keep track of monsters, and players keep track of theirs... still trying them to get a better dialogue of injuries working... not such an arbitrary method...

PvP is a crime! PC v PC is different Players are people... most of these people have issues seperating "in character" and such. They get angered that the person took it so far to attack! how dare they! I have luckily found a group of people who will understand that a PCvPC attack if it fits in...

I like gurps because an arrow through the heart can kill you... and not just sorta scratch... same with VP/WP lethality makes players more in tune with not being used to taking on things that they can beat. in VP/WP a Giant is a wonderful thing to fear!

I've killed 7 characters in 6 weeks using HP system. I think when I change over to Armour as DR, VP/WP, and my mana system I made that the players will appreciate it all a lot more and may survive far better! And what part of a rant is humble? Lethality should be there, you're an adventurer...
