Quest end-boss

I can't make up my mind so I'm leaving it up to you all.
I'm going to have my players run through a quick map in the desert to get to a piece of a puzzle they'll need to defeat something else. This it the treasure hunt/save the world leg of my campaign (I know that's in a major nut-shell) and I need an endboss for this particular level.

I can't make up my mind between a Marruspawn Abomination (Sandstorm), a Blackstone Gigant (Fiend Folio), a Chronotryn (Fiend Folio), or CR 18 Swarm shifter Mummy from the Libris Mortis.

One of those is going to be the guardian for a piece of artifact they'll need to assemble.

I voted for the Marruspawn because I'd be using it if my desert campaign wasn't more focused on an invasion from Baator and a sand lich attempting to regain his ancient throne.

One thing I can tell, that most eveyone with the exception of one person so far is leaning away from the chronotryn. I am too, but I'll save him for another appearance at another time.
