Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#30)---11/05/07-'Out of Time'

Latest off-the-wall theory. Elle gets Peter out of custody from the Company where he had been since the BOOM (he gets her electricity powers). She and he team up to break Adam out. The three vow to bring down the Company. How Peter gets into the cargo container in Cork and why the Irishmen...

Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#30)---11/05/07-'Out of Time'

I'd call him NE, but not CE. He doesn't kill for joy or without cause. He is on a mission and is willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. That is NE in my book. Sylar is CE and I'd even say Adam may be CE, but not HRG (yet).

Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#30)---11/05/07-'Out of Time'

While HRG does seem to be more emotional and near the edge right now, I think he intended to let the company know he was on to them. He isn't that sloppy.

Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#30)---11/05/07-'Out of Time'

Interesting thought...Claire is essentially immortal and un-ageing. She'll be hated at her 25th high school reunion. And yes, there are other interesting thoughts that go along with this, but are not quite suitable for grandmothers so will go unsaid.

Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#30)---11/05/07-'Out of Time'

Wow, great, great episode. This is what makes the show work. Last season was like this two, you'd have a down episode or two as they moved the chess pieces around the board and then they'd unload a killer episode. Poor Kaitlyn, stuck in a future that may (we hope) never happen. Will Peter...

Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#29)---10/29/07-'The Line'

I really enjoyed the episode, and I actually like the twins. Maybe their role is a bit of a rehash ever episode, but I like where they are going with it. And the now-impotent Sylar going along with them is excellent. West/Claire - I'm not writing this off yet. It is fairly boring now, but I...

Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#29)---10/29/07-'The Line'

Good pickup. We have two possible paths for the virus to start...The Company's work or Maya. Either way, my gut feeling is that it is still her twin who holds the power to stop the virus.

Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#29)---10/29/07-'The Line'

My guess? The original plan was for flyboy to scare the cheerleader and then have Claire there as a witness that there was nothing to see. Then stalker-boy got all creative and decided to up the drama.

    Legion Of Superheroes

I haven't watched it. I loved the Batman: The Animated Series -> Superman -> Justice League cartoons, some of the best written shows on TV (not cartoons, shows). But I was never able to get into the Teen Titans or The Batman, so I haven't at all paid attention to this one.

    IRON MAN Trailer

Yeah, saw that over the summer. That trailer rocks to the point where I'm wondering if the movie can live up to it.

Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#28)---10/22/07-'Flight or Fight'

I'm betting that in the upcoming episodes will be a "Four Months Ago..." one that covers what happened since, like you said, there are just too many unanswered questions. Why is Nathan not in Congress? What did the world think of the nuke? How did Peter get in the cargo container in Cork?

    Smallville-Season 7-Action. 10/2007

So what is Lana's goal? She's obviously still investigating the Luthors, but to what end? Is she trying to protect Clark? Get revenge? Both? I'm still disappointed that the entire season where she had a witch's power through possession has been ignored.

    Smallville-Season 7-Action. 10/2007

This one seemed different than many of the others. Much of that was, I'm sure, due to the parallel nature of the story within the story (or superhero movie within the superhero show, I guess), but still it was one of the most "hard core" episodes to date. Lionel first ripping off the trap was...

    Smallville-Season 7-Cure. 10/2007

I really liked this one. My wife actually cheered when she saw Dean Cain. :) Cain did a good job as Savage...he is at that stage in life where you can't quite tell how old he is, which works perfectly for Savage.

    OOTS 496: Responsible

There was a time, oh about four years ago, when I was a cranky sarcastic hardened shell of a man who would have scoffed at people who would get emotional about a comic strip like this. Since then I have had two children of my own and now I'm a complete softy. Things like this just tear me...

SciFi Channel Movie: The Legend of Earthsea

I'm less than 100 pages in so far (time has been at a premium this week) but so far I'm really enjoying it. Very creepy and macabre without being too gory. It looks like Joe learned well from his father, especially his early stuff.

Chimes at Midnight scaled for 8th Level ...

I ran Chimes for 10th and 11th level characters. It was challenging considering all of the additional resources they had at their disposal from contacts to cash to 5th level spells. Frankly the most difficult part was slowing them down enough to get the timing right. What I did in that regard...

SciFi Channel Movie: The Legend of Earthsea

Sounds like a solid opinion from the ENWorld folks. I'm right now reading Heart Shaped Box, but when that is done I'll look these up. Thanks.

SciFi Channel Movie: The Legend of Earthsea

I know this came out a few years ago, but I just watched it last week and it wasn't bad. I know that to make a book into a movie a lot of material has to be cut, but I kept thinking while watching it that there were entire scenes were they tried to make up for huge leaps in time or in the...
