It also utilizes Zocchi dice. All of them. Including the d5, d7 and d24. - Goodman Games The only thing that troubles me about the extra dice is that only one company* makes those specialty dice, and it might be a limiting factor for some who want to play the game if they can't get those dice...

It will be interesting to see how those dice will be used in the game, hopefully in a way that doesn't feel "gimmicky".

I like that this isn't going to be another 3e replacement like Pathfinder, but rather (hopefully) a melding of some of the best features of 3e/d20/OGL and old school play. The streamlining appeals to me - no feats, PrCs, AoO, or grid-based movement. I'm not sold yet on going back to races as...

I would recommend ICONS as well - it's very rules light and easy to pick up, and my nephews (ages 11 and 8) love it.
