    Use that Magic Device!

    There are some items in the Magic Item Compendium that would be good. For example, the Cli Lyre requires it's user to have 10 ranks in Perform (string instruments) or it bestows a negative level, but in return once perday you can do a break enchantment, Dim Door, or shout spell.

    Oddity... For some reason, the Disarming ability is a +2 bonus; you get a +2 bonus on disarm atempts, and you can't be disarmed. Seems a little weak for a +2 bonus...

    Weapons you wished you'd see sometimes.

    My gf had a elven rogue-fighter-mage who used one; he acquired it as a trophy from someone he'd fought, and determinedly went on to master it; the transition from 3.0 to 3.5 made it a bit easier, as he no longer needed Ambidexterity to use it to best effect.

    The Emerald Claw soldier. I personally love flails, so any mini that has one is a nice on to add to my collection. :)

    Have you ever owned them? Tumbling is the least of their skills. Jumping and Climb are maxed out as well.

    Or the sub-class 1/a - Classes who's abilities depend heaviliy on the success of a skill use, ie Eberron's artificers & the truenamer.

    For as long as the familiar is within 5ft of the master (or whatever "within arm's reach" translates to for the appropriate sized caster; Familiars). I think that if they dropped that limit, it would help arcane casters out...

    Character Advencement Suggestions Needed - Spontanous Divine Caster

    There's a spell called Healthful Rest (I think) in the Spell Compendium. You can cast it on one target per level, and it doubles natural healing rates overnight. So, it's not an immediate combat repair, but it's a great spell for long term healing. Be a good one to use for those game days...
