Sblocks are one of the big advantages of PbP. You can have characters in different locations, learning different things. A side plot can be run at the same time as the main mission. That's probably the one of the only real advantages other than convenience in a busy schedule.

It's Sternn. I couldn't get a good picture that was within the size limits, so I'll probably replace it in the near future. One of my favorite characters. :D

Living Supers - General Discussion Thread

I try not to, but occasionally I do open some of them. I think it's human nature. One problem I have is that I get emails of the posts for some of the games I'm in . Those don't contain sblocks and other formatting, so I know what is said even if I didn't want to. Sblocks and private messages...

This is something I try really hard not to do in the actual games I'm in. It takes osme of the fun out of it for me.

SX:3 From the Bowels of Philadelphia (Hero For Hire Judging)

OOC: Sorry for the delay. I'm headed out for the weekend so quiet until Monday. Aphib leaps from the water and grabs onto the Robot's hand. Aphib opens his maw wide and an until-now unnoticed glands in his throat retchs up a slippery substance covering TG. The slick flem makes TG impossible...

I read the ones for characters in my games. I glance at the new characters to get an idea of what type of character they are when they first appear. Now that there are more GMs I don't read the backstory on characters. That way I'm learning while my character is. I have no idea what Marie...

RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

Titan responds to Archville, "Sierra is a looker, but she's pretty much all about Sierra. A few things on our last mission made me a little leery of working with her." He pauses as if he's hearing something in his head, turns, looks, and spots the fox. He starts to follow the good Doctor and...

    Character Generator

There are a few out there. I've used ski's character generator. I found it on the Atomic think tank. Found a lot here http://www.atomicthinktank.com/viewforum.php?f=10 It's a great site if you're not familiar with it.

RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

Titan looks at Archeville and rolls his eyes. Here we go again "Why don't you go there and then come back with a location. We need to make contact with Kitsune so the Doc and I can wait here." , he says to Sierra. OOC: What is this big Samarai thing, exactly

RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

Titan blinks and looks at his companions, "Well, that was weird. Glad I don't have to do that again for awhile". I'm not sure what to do about the guantlets since they are a little funky. I could have him go without, or just have the FF be nonfunctional for now. Big thing I wanted was a...

SX:3 From the Bowels of Philadelphia (Hero For Hire Judging)

OOC: Ghost hasn't been on for six days. I'll roll for him. Did you guys want to follow your previous actions, or propose something different?

Living Supers - General Discussion Thread

Good discussion guys. I don't know if I want to have any power where I have to have each individual GMs permission to use it. Could I just buy FF3 with no ablative and be done with it, or is there something here in the build that people would want to make a proposal out of?

The Stuff of Dreams (Orsal Judging)

OOC: Haven't picked up the movie to watch again, but I'm guessing the reply is... Ryland glances at his partner, then gives a knowing look to the clerk, "The stuff that dreams are made of." OOC2: Checked Wikipedia for exact quote :D Apparently a misquoting from Shakespeare's The Tempest
