RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

And wouldn't Sierra's Omniscience be the perfect excuse/reason for reading the latter part of the thread, so she/d'you'd know where to teleport?
Ah, but it's only Limited Omniscience, so it's not quite that strong ;) She can't go back in time and decide to pay attention, she can just know a fairly high amount about all knowledge (+15 isn't shabby, but true expert PCs are going to beat her in most fields except Arcane Lore if they max out ranks and have an Int bonus) and then see things going on if she decides to do so.

It's an interesting idea, but I've imposed a lot of limits on Sierra, and I want to keep them there to make it easier for her to fit well in adventures and enhance the fun (like she did when teleporting everyone right to Tokyo so we could start playing) rather than decrease it (claiming to know everything past present and future and demanding the answer as to what was causing the tokyo problem, for instance).

It's ironic, really--Sierra could know about the other Resolutes if she had bothered to read their dossiers in the database or to spy on them, but she just was never interested enough to bother.[/SBLOCK]

*Another Japanese schoolgirl, highly attractive, suddenly appears in the elevator.*

"Konichiwa! Sumimasen, Gojira, wa doko desu ka," she asks

(OOC: Translation--"Good afternoon. Excuse me. I'm looking for Godzilla? (the sense is "Can you help find Godzilla?" or "Where is Godzilla?" ) )
Marie glances over at the newcomer and then points at the samurai thing. "<<Does he count?>>"

[sblock=OOC] If I'm using <<dialogue>> it means I'm speaking in Japanese, if i'm using italics, I'm subvocalising into the radio, just as a FYI. ATM, I have my radio on so anything I say or hear in close proximity should be broadcasting to anyone else tuned into whatever frequency we're using for our communications.

Reading the good Doctor's background, he's gonna LOVE me, isnt he? Heh.[/sblock]

<<Please, follow the fox.>> the voice continues in Japenese, now only to Titan and Archeville as a small, three tailed yellow fox shimmers into sight. <<Kensai will be able to inform you...he speaks English. Apologies for speaking to your minds unannounced, I am Kitsune.>>

The fox looks between Titan and Archeville and begins to run from the tower. Stopping after ten feet and turning to see if the pair follow.

Meanwile at Itchitawa Industries....

Marie glances up, craning her neck to stare at the face of the thing's helmet. She raises one hand in a friendly wave. "<<Hi hi! Uh...would you believe I was looking for the bathroom?>>"
"<<No.>>" the samurai says as a second school girl appears. <<Two!>> it yells, a hand going to the katana at its belt.

[sblock=OOC]Rystil: Yeah, it is a hard balancing act, I've been there before (am there now, sorta -- a mind like Archeville's ain't easy to write for!).

D Shaffer: Yeah, h's gonna love Meca Musume ;) ("There should be rocket fuel there... why is it filled with tuna?!") She's actually a reason I wanted Archeville to join the Tokyo Mission, figured it'd be great/fun roleplaying experience. That, and the guy who plays Mister Scares is a co-worker and, more importantly, a good friend, and I expect all sorts of wacky roleplaying 'twixt Gus & Vic :) [/sblock]

Archeville follows the fox, on foot. If I see a white rabbit anywhere...

(OOC: Although I do know how to say the next phrase, we're going to run out of my limited Japanese shortly, so I'll just move to the stream operator convention like everyone else)

"<<I'm just looking for the bathroom too. Please, don't be so tense. We're just here to talk. Your armour is very imrpessive, you know?>>"

*Sierra notes the others following the fox and then stops bothering with Limited Omniscience for now, as she attempts to use her Fascinate feat on the armour. It isn't a power or anything--just an interaction skill. If she beats his total Will save roll with her Diplomacy roll, he has to keep listening to her talk, unless something hostile or violent happens of course.*

(OOC: Would you like me to roll, or shall you? It seems likely that if he isn't immune to interaction skills, she can Fascinate him into at least being calmer and avoiding breaking out that sword)

OOC: I don't think the other three are together... and I think Gus/Mr. Scares is the only male. :D

OOC: Technically, Gus probably isn't male-- unless you're afraid he is, which is actually a pretty normal reaction to the thought. As he observed once before he's "not that kind of dream."

So, yeah, while I doubt he's extra-resilient to Sierra's pretty looks or anything of that nature, he's not actually sexually interested in anyone.

So, Mister GM... where the heck is Gus at this point?

Titan responds to Archville, "Sierra is a looker, but she's pretty much all about Sierra. A few things on our last mission made me a little leery of working with her."

He pauses as if he's hearing something in his head, turns, looks, and spots the fox.

He starts to follow the good Doctor and says with a grin, "This got real interesting real quick"

OOC: I'm headed out for the weekend so quiet until Monday.

OOC: unless he decided to walk into an elevator and up the shaft then he'd be on the first floor.

The Tower:
The large Samurai looks between Sierra and Marie, taking a sidestep while keeping his attention on them, <<Enter.>>

Meanwhile...

The fox leads Archeville and Titian to a small building that looks like the remiscent of a phone booth <<Enter, Ronin has rigged up a transporter from this location to our Dojo.>>

Titan enters the building, "It looks like it's off to the dojo for us,Doc."

OOC: Gone for the next few days. Titan will follow Archville's lead.
