Ah, gotcha. I'm not much up on their defenses, and not much more up on their weaponry. My players don't know it yet, but I'm moving away from standard magic items, too. So construction and craftsmanship will be much more important in my game.

Interesting -- never heard of that, myself. I suppose that could work. I'm leary of letting items other than armour and shields give an AC boost. I did that once in 2e and the results were *bad*. No one could hit anyone else. :)

True strike is a lovely spell to use when you're ambushing someone and have a surprise round to spend on it. But, frankly, in *any* combat I've been in, wasting a round on an action like casting true strike during combat is *always* a bad move that could, in fact, lead to party deaths. The...

Interesting. Very interesting, Spatzimaus. I'm going to have to tone down my magical leathers. I did some sample armours using the second type of leather and mithral brigandine, and the results were gross. :)

Mmm, hmm. Actually, I dunno. Most of the ones that have those sorts of feats as Prereqs usually also have a BAB requirement. I hadn't thought of that. So maybe it isn't an issue, anyway...

You should mention you don't allow most (or is it any?) prestige classes, so those aren't a game balance issue on those. :) Me, I'd take it. Probably Light Infantry. Even though they're not optimal feats, I love Run and Endurance. I'd sacrifice a level for that combo.
