I suspect that the rules are written, the feedback shapes the written rules. They will take feedback from those who sign up to playtest the game. Which is why it is important to sign up.

I suspect the character builder may have some influence as they track that data. If they see lots of warforged being made as characters, then Warforged has a better chance of becoming core.

I hate the whole wizard carrying a crossbow thing. I don't mind vancian spellcasting, but there needs to be magic that the wizard can always do. For me if you rolled rituals back into their spell lists the 4e model isnt a bad model.

I will take 4e monsters and design along with a punch to the face than 3e monsters and design any day of the week. IMO 4e was 10 times better in that regard .

I can give xp for some reason, but I think you have hit on something. I don't think Paizo will react right away, but if 5e is sucessfulit will be interesting to see what they do. I would predict PF 2.

Shocked....no not really. But really the open playtest thing is going to be cool. I am looking forward to seeing it roll out and how it all unfolds. And truth be told I am ready to come home .

Given the "you don't want to miss next week " thing I find that its a MMO kinda hard to believe.
