Dragonfist was the first thing that popped in to my mind too. Still, as long as Dragonfist is eventually released I'm happy for Chris & Co. to take their time to make it the best they can. I didn't know about "Dragons of Autumn". So, this is a straight-up conversion of DL1-3?

With all the talk of 4E, I haven't heard much about some of the cool RPG stuff that's scheduled for release on or around GenCon. Besides Rappan Athuk Reloaded and Ptolus, can anyone think of other GenCon releases that look interesting?

None of the covers really blow me away, but I do like that one. That interior art for "Faiths of Eberron" really looks awesome. I only wish there was a bigger picture of it on the WotC site. The art in Eberron has been some of my favorite in an RPG.

I'm finishing up China Mieville's "Perdido Street Station" and will probably be reading the "Tales of the Last War" collection of Eberron short stories.

I agree. The constant disarm checks are going to slow combat to a crawl. It really sounds like this player cheezed out the character as much as possible, which is fine if that's the kind of game you're in to. Problem is, it doesn't really sound like the type of game you want to run...

Yeah, being surrounded by enemies with only medium armor and D8 hitdice is pretty risky. You'd best hope whatever spell you Channel kills at least one of your foes.
