FR Adventure: No name as of yet

Oh sure....one of my players finally runs and does a story hour, making ME look bad! :) I think our crew are the ONLY Vermonter's on the boards, PC... So for my long-awaited break from DM'ing (been going pretty well non-stop since 3E's release...through some mod'd Castle Greyhawk and finally...

We need more people for the ENBoards Boston game on May 11th!

Yes, I am aware that Paranoia > Living Greyhawk...But I had the baggage of the commitment to go with 4 of my players... But it was a good time :) Being in Vermont, any game with new faces is a good game .... More importantly, so how was the Paranoia game??? -Rugger "I Lurk!"

(Poll) ANyone here a fan of Fritz Leiber's Works?

It would be cool to see a 3e version of Lankhmar/Newhon. One thing that always bugged me about the old versions is that 1st Ed and 2nd Ed were SOOO magic item-centric and Newhon was a low magic world....with the advent of 3e and the focus on skills and feats, I'm betting that that Lankhmar...

    Polyhedron calls Piratecat, "superjudge"!

Hmmm....KidC told him to take the cape off? He had it on at Conncon this weekend...You should have seen him strike a heroic pose in his shiny red and blue tights, and sparkley cape. I was afraid he was gonna jump off the mezzanine level... :) -Rugger "I lurk!"

Travels through the Wild West: the Isle of Dread

Too funny.... I haven't even so much as looked at "The Isle Of Dread" in 10 years, yet as soon as I read the description of the village, a name came to mind... "Fano, the Talking Chief" Why I remembered it, I don't know....but I knew he was coming :) Funny how memories work...Keep up the...

High level 3e magic item purchasing... when does enough become too much?

The decison to allow players to buy magic is not one to be taken lightly...as I am finding out now in my campaign. I came up with a system that goes something like this: 1. Players decide what they are looking for 2. ONE (the one doing the shopping) makes a Gather Information roll, DC based...
