Need help in playing lawful characters

I've noticed that most of the characters I make are either neutral or chaotic, but rarely lawful. I've thought about it and I think I am doing this because it is easier for me to understand the neutral & chaotic alignments. How can I make more lawful characters without ending up making them...

    Where to find Feats?

There are some bardic music feats in Complete Adventurer. Edit: Also, have you seen the feat compendium on Wizards' website? (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/feats) You can sort by several parameters and search for keywords.

How do YOU define magic in your campaign?

Thanks everyone for your replies so far. I can tell you have put a lot of thought into your magic systems. These ideas are refreshing for me, because I was having trouble defining magic while avoiding stereotypes and cliches. Please keep 'em coming!

How do YOU define magic in your campaign?

I've been thinking about this for a while...what distinguishes magic from some other nonmagical, yet powerful ability? Is magic more fluff or crunch? Magic is sometimes usable at will, at other times it is greatly limited. Some people like the feel of low-magic campaigns, others prefer...

The paladin. A story and a question.

I think that statement sums up how I feel as well. If you define "undead" as innately evil, the way a demon or devil might be, then dispatching these undead might be understandable. Since it is given that the monks and priests were undead and LN, I don't think the innately evil paradigm works...

    New Character idea needed

I think there have been questions about its balanced-ness, but the Fochlucan Lyricist prestige class from Complete Adventurer permits full spell progression for arcane and divine simultaneously. IIRC, there are a lot of prereqs for it though.

    Chargen with Hubris

I like the concept a lot. However I would prefer to implement it in a qualitative rather than quantitative way. By just tying it to, say, DR it becomes just another statistic for min-maxers & powergames to optimize. Rather, I'd prefer to focus on making bad things tend to happen more to the...
