I haven't had the chance to download/use the Google Draw app. However, if there are issues people aren't comfortable with or if it adds complexity then it defeats the purpose and we should stay with things as they are. It was just a suggestion and I can accept that it might not work for this...

I haven't had any issue with load time or adding shapes. I discovered the same issue with transparency of objects. I could view the map on my phone, could highlight a particular object, but was unable to actually move it.
