How much should this item cost?

GP cost = Spell level X Caster Level X 2000GP Death watch spell 1*1*2000=2000GP Low light vision 1*1*2000=2000GP or So low light vision may only cost you 1500GP Then the zoom should probably be like the gnome crossbow sight from page 36 of arms and equipment (Althought is v.30) Except that...

So.... goblins. 200 vs. a 4th level party. Who are the standouts?

Could have a goblin smith fighting with unique 'goblin' weapons, that are small in size, but are interesting enough that the PC's may want a larger version made. A goblin clearly specialised with traps, meaning you get to lay a trap or two at the entrance, and he could look a little quirky with...

    Encounter Level for Overpowered Party

From what I have found encounter level wise, your best bet is small groups of powerful monsters, try 2-3 beefed up creatures with regen, or something like invisible stalkers, they tend to cause trouble with people not prepaired for them.

    Wish and its limits

I think if I wanted to, I could convince this DM of anything, he doesn't have a large amount of experience, so I would basically just be cheating; I'd rather see if I can balance the wish as a 'fair' use of the spell.

    Wish and its limits

Do you think its a good idea to use a divination before a wish (My character is a beugiler anyway)

    Wish and its limits

I dont know if there is an expansion on the limits of wish outside the players hand book (Because if there is a link to it is something I would really appreciate) I am really wandering about the part that lets you wish for just about any magic item, does the 25000 GP limit apply to that as...

    Famine in the world

I think I get the point of this Hummn Evil vilians handing out 'tainted' food, if poisonous, or enchanted with an evil spell The rich stock piling more food than necessary leading for tyranny over a small town In the centre of a volcano some kind of dark pyromage that leads to retrebutive...

    Advice on "Arcane Rogue"

Any plans on looking at beguiler? If you havnt looked at it before, its in the PBH II It is basically a rogue with a useful set of illusion and enchantment spells as well as a few divinations.

    Famine in the world

If food is reduced by half, (Roughly) Then why not reduce farmers to 1 silver every other week instead of one silver a week (5 copper a week), to represent this based on that D&D economy, and until the effects end, well you can use the supply and demand rules on food, meaning there is an...

Reading over this whole thing, and having had a brief glance ad feudalism earlier on, what kind of government is in place for most of your cities? I am curious.

    Famine in the world

What about the fishing industry, while pollution kills a lot of sea life, that is over longer spans of time, so imagine those who can catch enough to feed more than themselves, they will find themselves getting more and more money, and some aristocrat will notice (I presume) This would lead to a...

    Frost Giants

Also if your making it a frost giant city, a quick look over the plain of fires main city, and substituting some of the rules for cold instead, could create a nice flavour.

    Famine in the world

I personally wouldn't be opposed to eating goblins and evil humanoids if I was a guard member and food was scarce Not condoning canibalism (Though expecting it some what) But eating gnoll and ettin, and such, well that wouldnt cause as much of an issue as they are already evil Clerics may gain...

    Stone Trolls in D&D

In that case, since with D&D most of the players would take the chance to put a large fire around the troll, you might also want to magically increase the stones weight and immunity to damage, or players could smash it apart rather easily and then burn the rubble.

    Stone Trolls in D&D

I don't know of any, but as my name suggests, I don't know a great deal about the game, I'm posting for a couple of reasons, the first to say that making one sounds fun and id be happy to give a crack at helping, and the other, because posts with no comments often get ignored, and id like to...
