    ToB:Bo9S Cha-fighting Prestige class

There isn't? Huh. I thought I read there was somewhere. Back to the drawing board for another ability. Mostly OoTS-inspired (thus the quote from OoTS), though I have always liked the idea of fighting through force of personality as a character class.

The Dashing Swordsman "The Dashing Swordsman class will teach you to harness your natural charm to turn you into a real bonifide wisecracking, swashbuckling, damsel-saving action hero!" -Julio Scoundrel, TOWNSPEOPLE Weekly's sexiest man alive A friend of mine is getting bored with his...

Trading critical power for critical range?

and this feat is limited by the weapon's threat range.

Trading critical power for critical range?

But feats SHOULD be good. I think if a feat is so weak it's not worth taking, it's not worth making. Is this a feat all people will take? No. Is it a feat that everyone who can aford a feat and wants to use critical weapons will take? Sure. It strengthens what is considered by many a sub-par...

Trading critical power for critical range?

Power Attack does stack with a weapon's damage bonus. You just can't use it's bonus to attack to power additional damage, so I suppose you should allow these feats to "use" the basic levels of threat range and such of only the base weapon, but allow the feats to augment beyond the base levels.

Trading critical power for critical range?

I know that it is much better to be giving up threat-range for multiplier, but as a feat that won't be availible until level 9 at the earliest, and even then, pretty much only by fighters, I think it's fair enough. I wouldn't be opposed to upping the BAB requirement a bit.

Trading critical power for critical range?

I would split it into two feats: Accurate Critical Prerequisites: Improved Critical, Combat Expertise, BAB +8 Benefeit: For every point you reduce your weapon's critical multiplier, you may extend its threat range by one. This adjustment is made on your turn and lasts until your next turn...

Golden Dragon is, in fact, the only Eberron module I have not read and/or studied extensively. I also have never (to my knowledge) played in a magazine module.

Shadowjack hops out of sight. Stonewall picks up a plank he knocked loose when he smashed through the floor. He walks up to one of the men and beams him upside the head, knocking him to the ground. The men open fire into the cooridor, narrowly missing The Voice, Stonewall, and Sunspot...

Re-balancing the 1/2 Orc for my own campaign

The last PC I played for a very meaningfully long period of time was a half-orc. The changes that DM made for it to be worth my while were: +2 Survival and Intimidate +2 on saves vs. Poison +5 ft. movement. In this campaign orcs were slightly tall, and very much creatures of the wild, so the...

    Ender's Game...the movie!!!!

While I'd rather see a Tales of Alvin Maker mini-series (History or Sci-fi? Anyone?), I am fairly certain Card won't let this be a horribly shallow version of his works. He has always included in any option contract that he get veto power over story changes (and possibly some casting? not sure)...
