That's cool, but when I think of Li Mui Bai, I would gravitate more towards Fighter 1/Monk X/Kensai X. Monk because he uses no armor, moves gracefully, and is good in hand to hand combat. Monks also use 'ki' a lot. Fighter obviously because he can use any weapon well.

They are hard if you play to their strengths. Giants? Yeah, you melee with them, it's gonna get tough. On the other hand, a well-placed confusion spell in their midst can pretty much render a group of giants useless. Or sit back 100 feet, take a few rocks, and watch them fumble their reflex...

I would also make the arguement it has to do with the giants body type, though. I.E. dwarfs know how to get in blind spots, duck underneath legs, get places where it's harder to get a good swing. But ultimately, seems like a house-rule type situation.
