D&D 5E Are you using 3d6 apply as rolled and if so can you share your experience?

I'm in an OD&D with houserules campaign, my second with this particular group. All PC's & NPC's (henchmen, protegés, hirelings, etc.) roll 3d6 in order. As a result, none of the races/classes I wanted to play ended up being available. In the first campaign, I was a human thief. I rolled really...

    D&D General Goblins Eat Pickles???

The upcoming September set of miniatures from Paizo has as its special extra a goblin village. Among the things found in a goblin village is apparently... a barrel of pickles! The digitally rendered image below is from the unreleased "Legendary Adventures" set. Since when are pickles and...

What is the essence of D&D

I just came here to say that I find it interesting that two things you absolutely don't require to play D&D are: 1. Dungeons; and 2. Dragons.

Wrath & Glory Core Rulebook Cover Reveal

I'm impressed that the guy in the upper right of the picture managed to dodge that fire blast from the bolter--he somehow got the space marine to shoot him right through the hole in his chest!

D&D General Ed Greenwood: The Origins of Mirt the Moneylender

Me, too. I told my best friend "If they ever publish this guy's world, I'll run our first true campaign in it." That friend arrived at my house one day and said "Guess what...." So I had to keep my word. I bought the Grey Box on a Friday afternoon. By Saturday afternoon we were playing in...

    D&D 5E Television ball

Not really; none of my campaigns have ever had television. It's significantly less "medieval/fantasy" than I prefer in my D&D worlds.

D&D 4E What 4E Adventures are Best for Conversion to 5E?

I ran this, converted to Pathfinder on the fly. It's a good module.

D&D 5E D&D’s Christopher Perkins delves into dark, horrible secrets of the mind flayer

(SkidAce jumps and flips over the Perkins in Black.) I hope there is some new Spelljammer and/or Planescape material soon-ish--and not a rehash of The Great Modron March. I can find or create a 5E version of old stuff if I want to; I want something novel and original.

    D&D 5E WotC's Kate Welch Hints at Celebrity-Written 2020 Adventure Book

I would love to see a wide variety of contributors/authors. I pick and choose from everything for my own campaigns; having a more diverse selection gives me more reason to purchase this product.
