    Two things to add to this - Any healing gets you back up - you are still prone however. Someone can use the heal skill to stabilise you. If you are stabilised you are still down but no longer roll saves. This is useful if there is no healing available.

    Remember the warlock is still restricted to cursing only the closest target - just keep a normal monster between the warlock and the minons and you are good. Also if the warlock is using his curse to take out minons, he is not getting his extra damage on the normal monsters.

    Just for information, potions are made with the ritual caster feat (Brew Potion), and multi classing into a leader gets you a heal once per DAY.

    I don't think the power cards are random at all - you know what is in each box and the power cards you get are fixed. You won't be getting power cards with the randomised monster boxes.

    When you get a standard action from an action point you can spend it on whatever you want. It doesn't count as an ally for flanking though.

    This. Plus if you are using it as an improvised weapon you are not using it as a sheild so you lose all benefits of it being a sheild.
